Guide Review - Torture Killer - Swarm!

The band Torture Killer started out playing Six Feet Under covers. They went on to write original material and released their debut in 2003. In interviews they were asked about their Six Feet Under influences. Six Feet Under's Chris Barnes heard about the band and ended up being their new vocalist.

Barnes fits in perfectly with his new Finnish bandmates. Their style of death metal is raw and grungy with great grooves. The songs are catchy, but remain dark with that ominous feel that good death metal has.

The band's European style combined with Barnes' Florida death metal influences in both vocals and production makes for an excellent album.
