Continuing GWAR's Plot...
In the end, GWAR finds Satan,
an enormous, black-armor-plated figure with red eyes like a spider that the band calls Jewcifer because of the large gold Star of David on his chest. As it turns out, GWAR have come to kill Jewcifer because he claimed to be tougher than GWAR frontman
Oderus Urungus. Because Jewcifer is actually pretty tough (hes the main enemy of the story, after all), he takes longer to kill than all of the other bad guys GWAR has faced and after several failed attempts to pierce his hide, Oderus kills him by ripping his head off. To celebrate their victory, GWAR return to the Earths surface and smoke a nine-ton ball of crack sent to them by their manager, Sleazy P. Martini.
While GWAR advanced the plot using songs from Beyond Hell, they interspersed their set with selections from previous albums, focusing mainly on Scumdogs of the Universe (1990) and War Party (2004). Although it would have been nice to hear tracks from GWARs middle period, my understanding is that the band is distancing themselves from the experimentations of the 1990s albums in an attempt to get back to their metal roots.

This Tour: Worth the Price of Admission
Overall, the whole show was as impressive as I remember GWAR being when I saw them in 1999 and was a great cap to the whole night. The costumes continue to be top notch, the music is just as great as it ever was and theres really nothing more fun than to come home from a rocking concert covered with food coloring. As an added bonus, the opening bands are actually worth showing up for. If youve got the chance to see this tour, do so.
