Morbid Angel, Dark Funeral, Grave and VadimVon Concert Review

Late September beheld the arrival of one of death metal’s behemoths to New York City’s B.B. King’s Blues Club in Times Square, New York City: the return of Morbid Angel for the first time in more than six years. Opening for them were two stalwarts from Sweden – second-wave black-metallers Dark Funeral and seminal death metal act Grave (currently touring their August release, Endless Procession of Souls) – and Columbia, SC blackened death metal group VadimVon, bringing together four hours of pounding metal madness.
