Testament are, without a doubt, one of America’s premier thrash metal acts. Always an excellent, technically flawless band and a genre leader, Testament came back from a hiatus in 2008 with founding guitarist Alex Skolnick, largely recognized as one of metal’s best guitarists, firmly back in the fold. Skolnick’s return resulted in the one two tandem of excellent back to back albums in 2008’s Formation Of Damnation, and Dark Roots Of Earth from late last year.
