This is the DVD version of the Holy Diver Live CD that was released a couple of months ago.
I gave the CD three stars, but I'm rating the DVD a little higher. The 5.1 surround sound is great, and adding the visual elements of the show makes it more entertaining. The DVD is the entire classic Holy Diver album plus some other Dio solo material along with Rainbow and Black Sabbath songs. The extras are limited to a short interview with some of the band members.
Even though there are a few vocal slips, Ronnie James Dio proves that he is one of the great metal singers of all time, and he's put together a very good band that does justice to a classic album.
