For further details on the audio portion of the release, check out my review of the double CD version of Hell Yeah: The Awesome Foursome Live In Montreal. As far as the video quality of the DVD, it's adequate, but not as sharp and clear as some other concert DVDs I've seen.
They do a good job with the editing. There are a lot of different perspectives and angles of both the band and the crowd. Sometimes it goes from shot to shot really quickly, but other times the pacing is slower. There are also brief black and white shots, which adds an interesting contrast.
The second DVD is bonus material. It includes several music videos from throughout Gamma Ray's career along with live performances from both 2003 and 2006 Wacken Open Air. A couple of documentaries round out the disc. One is a road movie, which is a candid look behind the scenes on their 2006 tour. There are some funny moments, and it's nice to see the band members' personalities.
"Historay" is the other documentary, a 47 minute collection of home movies, live performances, backstages footage and more. A lot of it is in German, so if you don't speak the language you may have a hard time following some of the events. The road movie is subtitled when the band members are speaking German, so that one's no problem.
