Iron Maiden - Death On The Road DVDSanctuary Records
It look a while, but Iron Maiden's Death On The Road DVD is finally widely available in the U.S. The CD version of this concert was released back in 2005. It was filmed back in 2003 at the Dortmund Westfallenhalle.

There are two different concert DVDs. They have the same content, except one is mixed in stereo and the other in Dolby 5.1. The sound quality is excellent, especially cranked up in 5.1. The video quality is good, but the editing is not. They cut to a different shot about once a second, which is way too often. It makes it nearly impossible to watch without having to periodically look away to regain your bearings.

The DVD of bonus material is outstanding. There's a 75 minute documentary about the album and tour, a 45 minute "life on the road" segment, fan interviews and a couple of videos. There is well over 3 hours of bonus footage along with the nearly two hour concert, so there's plenty of bang for your buck. Maiden fans will really enjoy this DVD set, and even though the editing is sometimes hard to watch, the audio quality and great bonus material makes it well worth your while.
