Metallica was dragged kicked and screaming into the video age, but once they started making videos they really embraced the medium and made some really memorable ones. There have been several Metallica DVDs released over the years, but this is the first music video retrospective DVD.

The Videos: 1989-2004 includes all 21 of Metallica's videos, starting with their first effort, 1989's "One," which is a classic. All the big hits are there such as "Enter Sandman," "The Unforgiven," "Nothing Else Matters" and "Turn The Page" along with lesser known but still very good songs such as "King Nothing" and "No Leaf Clover."

In addition to all the band's videos, there is bonus material including the home video "2 of One," which was previously only available on VHS, along with an additional version of "The Unforgiven" and the trailer for their documentary Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster.

A few more extras such as interviews with the band members or video directors would have been nice, but fans of Metallica will definitely want to own this DVD to have all the band's videos on one disc.
