From Jay H. Gorania:
In the first grade, my older brother introduced me to the wonderful world of heavy metal via the likes of Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. Though I greatly value individualism, I’m honored to be a part of the countercultural movement known as heavy metal. Being a journalist is the best way I know how to give back to what has given me so much.
Metal is a brotherhood/sisterhood that lifts my spirit on a daily basis. Aside from that pretentious babbling, it just kicks ass musically, lyrically and conceptually. Whether I’m having a good day or feel down in the dumps, metal is always there for me.
