In Flames wrapped up their 2009 North American tour at Amos' Southend in Charlotte, NC on October 6, 2009. They headlined the show in support of their 2008 CD A Sense Of Purpose. Opening bands were 3 Inches Of Blood, The Faceless and Between The Buried And Me. In Flames guitarist Jesper Stromblad sat out most of 2009's tours, and his fill-in is Niklas Engelin (Engel), who was a member of In Flames back in the late '90s. The melodic death metal pioneers ended their tour in style with a great show.
