Guide Review - Decapitated - Organic Hallucinosis

The Polish death metal band Decapitated has an appropriate name. Their music is so brutal it could rip your head right off your shoulders. They have a new vocalist Covan, who steps in for Sauron without losing a step. In fact, he adds a little more to the band because he has a greater vocal range.

Their music is played at breakneck speed and it's impressive to hear drums played that fast. The cool thing about Decapitated is that their music is so technically precise you can still keep up with everything they are doing. Instead of sounding like a muddy mess, every lightning fast note can be heard.

Death metal played so fast and so brutally can get a little repetitive. Decapitated does their best to avoid that by throwing in some breakdowns, tempo changes and solos for a change of pace.
