Guide Review - Mastodon - The Workhorse Chronicles DVD
Another section is 3 different videos: "March Of The Fire Ants," "Iron Tusk" and "Blood And Thunder." It's a nice addition to the DVD.
The longest and most extensive part of the DVD is the live performances. Instead of filming one concert and showing it in its entirety, they show live performances from different eras and locations. It's interesting to see the really early songs when they were a 5 piece band. The audio and video quality of some of the songs isn't great, but that's part of the charm.
Mastodon fans will love this DVD. It has both behind the scenes footage and live performances. It's also a good intro to the band for casual fans. And with almost 3 hours of footage for under 15 bucks, you can't go wrong.
