Guide Review - The Project Hate - Armageddon March Eternal

Everything about this album is long and complex. The songs are almost all over 8 minutes long, and the song titles are a mouthful as well. The Project Hate's style of death metal can be brutal, but they also add many symphonic sections and a lot of electronic parts. The length of the songs allows for plenty of key and tempo changes and also showcases the entire band.

The vocals on the album are outstanding. Jörgen Sandström (Grave, Entombed) does the death metal style vocals that are intense but still understandable. Jo Enckell is the female vocalist that does the melodic vocals that range from a strong alto to ethereal soprano.

I like everything about this album, from the roaring death metal vocals to the melodic female vocals to the well-constructed complex songs. It's dark, menacing and brutal while still remaining musical and melodic.
