Guide Review - Thyrfing - 'Farsotstider'

When you think about it, most black and death metal vocals are unintelligible anyway, so it doesn't really matter what language they are in. In this case, they're in Swedish.

Thyrfing plays Viking/black metal music with a lot of keyboards and atmospherics. There's also a bit of death metal to their music. The songs are mainly mid-tempo and have a strong groove to them. Acoustic guitar interludes are mixed in with the heavy riffs. That makes for a diverse and complex album.
